Army of Two dated for 2010

EA’s co-op heavy shooter to miss its summer release date and join the Q1 2010 party

Army of Two: The 40th Day, EA’s follow-up to its surprise 2008 next-gen hit, will no longer be released this year and will instead join the growing number of titles hitting retail in the first quarter of 2010.

The game sees original protagonists Salem and Rios venture to Shanghai and will feature a beefed-up offering of multiplayer options.

Customers who pre-order the title will gain exclusive access to new multiplayer mode ‘Extraction’. Those who buy but don’t pre-order will get access in February.

Army of Two: The 40th Day will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP in Europe on January 8th and in North America on January 12th.

I don't think the game actually slipped - it just had its release date announced. It was always going to be early '10. :)
