GAMESCOM’09: SCEE’s Andrew House says transition from old to new model will be seamless
Despite yesterday’s warning from retailer Amazon that the new PS3 Slim is likely to be in short supply come its release next month, SCEE president Andrew House has claimed that his firm has ensured that the transition from the old to the new will be seamless
“I'm very pleased with how we have managed our inventory system on the existing model,” House told MCV.
“We've done that very well in the European market. There are trucks and trailers leaving right now – it's on the road.”
And of claims that stock shortages could dampen retail’s enthusiasm for the new console this Q4, House asserted: “I will make a prediction there – I don't think we will be having too many of those discussions with retail.”

halo sucks
I dont get it when these halo loving, xbox 360 fanboys get on and comment about how bad the PS3 sucks. Most of them dont even own a PS3 or never have owned one and are just jealous that they dont have one.I have owned every gameconsole ever made with the exception of the original xbox. The xbox360 I had rrod 3 times and was the cheapest made peice of junk electronic Ive ever owned. I liked Gears Of War but other than that there was nothing else good. Halo sucks soo bad that I wouldnt buy it even if it where made exclusively for the PS3.

Why don't you all stfu and realize you are arguing about stupid things. The games for 360 and PS3 are similar, so saying one has better games than the other is useless. People that use RRiD or YLoD are retarded because most will say they had it 3 to 6 times and never had anyways.

XP was probably the only thing of M$ i could say is reliable.
DOS was crap compare to Unix.
windows was crap compare to Linux.
windows 95,98 and 2000 kept crashing for no reason.
vista did not and STILL does not support half the programs i need to use on a day to day basis.
hell my a group of 4 teens could make a more reliable OS, opps thats what Linux is :D
