Rockstar’s port slashing up US retail on October 20th; Will be available on PSN too
Publisher Rockstar has confirmed – via the medium of Twitter, no less – that the PSP version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be released in North America on October 20th.
The studio has also confirmed that the game will be available both as a boxed product and as a download on PSN.
An October 23rd arrival in Europe is likely, though the high piracy rates on Sony’s machine might push Sony into asking Rockstar for a simultaneous worldwide release.
A first look at the game is promised ‘soon’ – it will certainly be interesting to see how Rockstar transfers the DS title to Sony’s machine, particularly owing to the first iteration’s dependence on both touch and dual-screen.
