‘Minimal’ changes for GOW on PS3

Though there are likely to be separate Trophies for each title in upcoming God of War collection

Sony has revealed that aside from the technical changes, the re-releases of both God of War and God of War 2 on PS3 are likely to be more or less identical to their PS2 forbearers.

The games will, however, boast revamped 720p visuals, 60fps gameplay and run with 2X anti-aliasing. Some in-game textures may be re-worked, but seeing as the game looked brilliant on PS2, Sony claims this might not be necessary.

Interestingly, in an interview with IGN, Sony Santa Monica’s product development director John Hight also claimed that both games are likely to sport their own complete Trophies list – despite being bundled on the same disc.

It was reported earlier today that the GOW/GOW2 bundle is unlikely to be released in the UK and Europe this year, but could make a 2010 arrival.

Does "God of War" really need to be abbreviated?
