Win a trip to Japan in GAME and Gamestation stores
To celebrate the impending launch of New Super Mario Bros, Nintendo is set to run a nationwide tournament to find the country's best Nintendo gamer.
The event is set to take place at four GAME and four Gamestation stores on Saturday October 17th and Sunday October 18th and gamers must compete on four games: Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart DS, Wii Fit and New Super Mario Bros. DS.
The top two finalists from each venue will then go forward to the grand final, where they can battle it out to win 'Britain's Best Nintendo Gamer' title.
The final will be hosted by Iain Lee, and the winner will win a trip for five to Nintendo's HQ in Japan.
The event is set to take place at the following venues:

nice
Tripe for five? I didn't realise there was a new Mario Party game due out
Nintendo?
Nintendo? What the hell do they know about gamers?
Tripe is spot on
again northern ireland gets shafted
and yet again one of the big corporations has a competition/guest signing/instore exclusive and northern ireland is completly forgot of, ever heard of belfast, one of the biggest cities in this supposed UNITED kingdom
Kyoto Here I Come!
There is no Mario Party title, it states it's a Super Mario Bros title.
Well seeing I'm from Hull, it looks like I'd better get practising on the four titles. Good job I own them all really, it's free to train!
Great Marketing
I think this is a grand idea on Nintendo's part! UK people probably felt slighted after not getting the price drop and this was a good way to cover their tracks and boost some sales. Personally, I think Nintendo needs more online promotions, the way Microsoft does it. This one here for a FREE Wii is pretty good, check the link for details, but they should do this for INDIVIDUAL games too.

It is new version?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with meaningful games. Just don't expect it from something that wouldn't benefit from it.
