if microsoft would bundle a yfi with the 250 gig elite and all new elite sales they would sell more consoles

the most likely reason that this may occur is because a number of PS3 owners are possibly boycotting Activision games because of Kottick but it will be interesting to see what happens. Wonder why there isn't a PS3 COD MW2 bundle coming out though.

How many people do you seriously think are going to Boycott MW2? Lets face it, seriously no more than 30,000 people? Which is not alot considering this game is going to sell Millions worldwide.

In all fairness the most likely reason will be due to the fact the Xbox 360 currently has a larger userbase worldwide at this current time. It's the usual comments you should come to expect from either Sony or Microsoft.

this is bound to tbe the case simply because of the install base, xbox is still millions ahead of sony, i dont think there is a official ps3 bundle, but there may be an added value pack released with a slim, i seem to remember sony doing it last year with call of duty

To be honest it's a shame that Infinity Ward have sided with Microsoft. Surely a game developer wants maximum sales on whichever medium, yet now we have MS with Infinity Ward giving 360 owners a better deal. I own both consoles, and intended to buy the 360 version as the Party system is good. But, lately I don't play with Friends, am too busy to team up, so PS3 is fine; because of this attempt to monopolize the game on one console, making it only worse for PS3 players, I will now definitely be buying the PS3 version to help boost the player-base.

It really is bad of Infinity Ward to side against one of their own player base like this, shame on them.

I was going to buy MW2 on PS3 but now that Kam1 is getting it on PS3 I'm definately getting it for my Xbox.

well between the install base, LIVE and the fact the 360 is better for FPSs then it's not a false claim, but he's still being a bit of a dick.

i'm one of the few who is boycotting Activision (and EA for Dante's Inferno). however i will maintain that MW2 will probably be the yard stick by which all future FPSs are judged by, and generally awesome.

does anyone think that Sony might not be making too big of a deal about MW2 because 1; Kotick threatened (weakly) to pull Activision games earlier in the year, and 2; they're gonna have to make a fricken huge deal outta MAG if it's not going to get it's ass handed to it by MW2?

Unless the Xbox gets a graphical makeover that allows increased AA/AF and adds mouse & keyboard support then there is no way in hell the platform can be the 'best' platform to experience the game.

why the hell does everybody think that its impossible to play a shooter without mouse/keyboard.All of you guys who hate on console controllers need to just try playing with a controller for like a month and by then they'll be used to it.if ur used to playing with a controller than its better than a mouse/keyboard and vice versa.

Do you lot know anything about these systems? i guess not. You lot are typical systemated people who havent got a bloody clue, unlike me. I'm a gamer, have owned both machines at present, and what i am going to say is pure, and nothing but pure......FACT!
The xbox 360 most definately stands out as the 'better' machine here to its counter partner the PS3. Reasons why, i have both of them, and its simple, it plays better on the xbox as you well know, the xbox controller is much more adaptive to this style of gaming, also the online in 'PERFECT' on the xbox, the interface is outstanding, and everything about the smell of its poo in its pants is good my sons. Now i have also tried playin the PS3 for some time, and to be honest, the game lacks, to join a multiplayer game takes about 30 hours. Error time out connection, crap players, bad load time updates, and little children all ucustom the PS3.
I have friends who unfortunate for them, will never understand what 'great perfect online gaming' is because they will never give it a try. I mean i didnt know i was going to like eating Dog when i went China, but hey, u got to try, and Dog is lovely. I want to try eating a horse one time, a thorough breed or stallion. My point is that you always try something, coz it may be better.

Your knowledge is outstanding, i have asked all my sons and brothers to sell there PS3 if they had one, and by an xbox. The playstation 3 falls WAY behind in the online gaming scene, the load times, the crap we all get, the crqap interface, i am selling my PS3 for £120 as just want it gone. Rupert i must say to you of your brilliance, and fight for the xbox shall rule. Communities shall strive, the X shall regenerate. I am currently editor for Playstation Magazine, and Rupert i am now resigning so i can join the resistance with you and wipe out the PS3 online.

Alright there folks, my names Stuart, i am founder of Evolution games, US, Kentucky. I also would like to point out that on all my reviews i have done, i always prefer the xbox as the 'Play' is alot better. The system is more brushed and speculated. Even the plastic is matt, rather than a cheapy gloss effect which looks like it comes out of the 80's lol.

the reason wht mw2 was desiged on xbox at not ps3 is due to lack of space the disc,s you can put on xbox to blueray disc ps3 take gta was desiged on ps3 then it was due out only to be delayed due xbox not been able to fit the game on so we missed out off all things what they hat to edit out the game just wait and xmas sells this from xbox and ps3 there shops were i live were they have not many ps3 and warehouses full xbox just says something ?
