NCsoft launches new Aion servers

Publisher relieves pressure as MMO’s popularity increases after launch

NCsoft is opening two additional servers for European Aion players less than a week after the game launched in the region.

The publisher is working hard to meet demand for its latest MMO, which was released last Friday, in order to reduce queues for more populated servers and allow more people to play the game.

English speakers will have access to the new Kahrun server, while French speakers will have the option of the new Deltras one. NCsoft has also recently opened two US servers covering the East and West Coast.

“We will continue to monitor the situation and maintain the delicate balance between managing busy servers versus overcompensating by adding new serves that may become underpopulated,” the company stated.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that over 400,000 pre-orders had been placed before the game had even been released.

With 2- 3 hour wait times just to log in it is frustrating to get online and play.

It plays very much like wow from what i have seen so far.

I will reserve my final judgement when i have hit the level cap and done the endgame content for a month or so.
