Job placement reveals pre-production is already underway
Dead Space developer Visceral Games has confirmed it is currently working on a sequel to the sci-fi horror title for Xbox 360 and PS3.
The studio posted a job advertisement on Linked in for a lead combat designer, which revealed the game is almost ready for full production.
“The game is in the later stages of pre-production, ready for production in a few months,” the description reads. “The Games Label at EA is 100 per cent committed to this IP.”
The ad claims the action shooter sequel “will set new standards for an action-packed story-driven console experience”.

Brilliant News
This is music to my ears hearing this announcement with Bioshock this to me is definitely the best of the new ips to come out in the last couple of years besides Uncharted of course. Hopefully EA can also do some good things with Mirrors Edge which has massive potential also to be a great game with a few tweeks here and there
