Poképark to mark best-selling franchise’s return to boxed product on consoles
Nintendo of Japan has announced it will release a new Pokémon game for Wii in the form of Poképark.
The game puts players in the paws of Pikachu as they wander around a Pokémon-themed amusement park, interacting with other Pokémon and competing in a variety of mini-games, according to CVG.
Gamers will need to befriend the other monsters in order to use their skills in each challenge, and the game will feature a screen grab mode, enabling fans to take pictures of their Pokémon collection.
This will be the first boxed console release since 2007’s Pokémon Battle Revolution. All other Wii releases in the franchise have been through Wiiware.
