
Multiformat mag sees of competition from GamesTM and Retrogamer
Edge was named the Best Games Magazine at the Games Media Awards.
The Future mag beat out rivals PC Gamer, OXM, GamesTM and Retrogamer to win. It was the second year running it was named Best Magazine.
The award was collected by online editor Alex Wiltshire and staff writer Richard Staunton.
The Games Media Awards were held at Jongleurs, Camden, and hosted hundreds of the UK's games media and marketing and PR execs.
Key sponsors were Bethesda's WET, Activision's DJ Hero, Electronic Arts, Formula One 2009 from Codemasters, IL-2 Stumovik from 505 Games, Namco Bandai, New Super Mario Bros Wii from Nintendo, Saw from Konami, Scribblenauts from Warner Bros., Sega, Ubisoft, and Xbox 360.
