Mobile games firm ranks 129th in Technology Fast 500 listing
Having seemingly got its business back on track after a tough spell spent adapting to the modern market conditions of the now iPhone-dominated mobile sector, Glu has won acclaim in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 listings.
The firm ranked 129th in the report, which outlines the 500 fastest growing technology and media firms in North America. The results were based on fiscal reports between 2004-2008, during which time Glu grew by over 1,000 per cent.
“Glu has proven that it can not only create quality games, but also stay significant and successful in a rapidly changing market,” stated Glu CEO Greg Ballard.
Deloitte’s managing partner for technology and venture capitalist services Mark Jensen added: “With its impressive five-year growth, Glu has earned its position among the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.
"Deloitte is proud to honour Glu for its achievement.”
