Sci-fi horror sequel could hit shelves next year
Reports suggest the sequel to Electronic Arts’ Dead Space could be released in 2010.
A Reuters article claims “Dead Space 2 is in development for next year” and just one of “a pair of horror offerings” the publisher is working on, alongside the upcoming Dante’s Inferno.
The game was confirmed to be in development by a job advertisement earlier this month, revealing the sci-fi horror sequel is already in pre-production for Xbox 360 and PS3.
The first Dead Space was an original IP that launched to critical acclaim in October 2008. A prequel, Dead Space: Extraction was released at the end of September this year.
