Sega moves to release the first triple-A release of 2010
Sega has announced the highly anticipated action title Bayonetta will be released in the UK on January 8th.
In a statement, the publisher proudly declared the game would be “the first genuine triple-A title of 2010” for Xbox 360 and PS3.
Sega America and Sega Europe CEO Mike Hayes said: “We chose a January ship date for Bayonetta as we firmly believe it is the best time for Sega and our retail partners to launch this exciting new IP in the west and push for a No.1 retail slot.”
The game was released in Japan this week to critical acclaim, garnering high scores in various games publications – including the twelfth perfect score of 40/40 in Famitsu’s history.
