
Dragon Quest IX, Batman and Kingdom Hearts drive sales
Square Enix has seen its sales rise 33.2 per cent for the six months ending September 30th.
The company's sales have reached 90.6 billion Yen ($998 million), however, profits have fallen 55.7 per cent to 2.68 billion Yen ($29.5 million).
Sales were driven by Dragon Quest IX, which has sold 3.93 million copies worldwide, as well as Batman: Arkham Aslyum, which shifted 2.63 million copies and Kingdom Hearts 365/2, which sold through 1.22 million units.
For the full fiscal year, Square Enix predicts revenues to rise 32.7 per cent year-on-year, while the company expects to turn a 10 billion yen ($110 million) profit, a rise of 57.9 per cent year-on-year.
