Nintendo enjoys best week’s Wii hardware sales this year
The Wii has achieved its best weekly hardware sales of 2009, countering accusations that the console’s sales are flagging.
For the week ending November 7th, the format enjoyed its best hardware sales so far this year, according to ChartTrack.
This was attributed to a 57 per cent increase in sales of the White Wii Sports Resort Bundle, which was launched six weeks ago and features the console, Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
Also boosting sales was this week’s strong debut of the Black Wii Sports Resort Pack, boasting the new black edition of the console.
