In-the-box code allows for FFXIV in-game goodies and possible access to the beta
Thousands of punters are expected to flood to retail today to get their hands on the feverously anticipated Final Fantasy XIII – and those who buy the PS3 version are in for an extra treat.
Inside the box they’ll find a Square Enix Members Card. Inputting the code printed on it at the Square Enix Members website will grant users a special in-game item for upcoming console MMO Final Fantasy XIV.
In addition, users will also stand a chance of landing a place in the beta for the game, which will be kicking off later this year.
The release date for FFXIV is still unknown, though it’s expected to arrive on PS3 and PC later this year.
