FFXIII breaks series UK records

Final Fantasy XIII has shattered the series’ UK sales records, becoming the fastest ever selling Final Fantasy game in the region, as well as the fastest selling UK game of the year.

It’s also become the fastest selling game of the year so far in Germany and France.

The news comes as total global sales for the series hit a staggering 96m units.

It’s great to see Final Fantasy XIII hitting the top of the UK charts and setting the pace as the fastest selling game of the year,” UK marketing director Jon Brooke stated.

With high profile TV spots playing out beyond Easter and branded buses still travelling the country I’m positive this title is only going to get bigger and bigger.”
