Kotick: Bungie game ‘unlike anything ever seen before’

Bobby Kotick has declared that Bungie’s first game to be published by Activision Blizzard will be unlike anything audiences have ever seen before”.

While the Activision president gave no new details on the title, he did suggest that it would be the Halo developer’s first multi-format release since it was purchased by Microsoft back in 2000, according to VG247.

Kotick said: We are excited over the Bungie deal because it will allow consumers to play their content on a broader and more efficient way than ever before.”

He also told investors during last night’s financial call that the recently announced 10-year publishing agreement will be creatively satisfying and financially rewarding” for both the publisher and Bungie.

Kotick added that the new signing underscores our commitment to partnering with the best creative talent in the industry”.
