UPDATE: Xbox 360 pack shot seemingly reveals upcoming Microsoft RPG is heading to PC
Microsoft’s Fable 3 will be released for PC as well as Xbox 360 when it goes on sale this December, the official boxart for the game seems to indicate.
The publisher released official pack shots for the game today which carry the ‘Only on Xbox 360 & Windows’ badge.
In comparison Fable 2’s box art featured the words ‘Only on Xbox 360’ when the game went on sale in October 2008.
Microsoft also reportedly advertised a job position for a Fable 3 network programmer earlier this year before removing it once reported. The ad said the responsibilities were “converting and maintaining network code of the Xbox 360 version of this game to the PC.”
In March lead designer Peter Molyneux admitted that he'd love to see his popular RPG series on PC.
MCV has contacted Microsoft for comment.
UPDATE: Microsoft has now killed all links to the boxart, suggesting a PC release is definitely on the cards. Is this the first confirmed E3 spoiler?
UPDATE 2: Microsoft has issued MCV with the following statement. "We've made no official announcements but please stay tuned." Which, as you may notice, is not a denial.

Not necessarily...
Working in an artwork department, I'm aware of the occasional error with the Microsoft templates, it's just one click away from turning that layer off - maybe this has been forgotten and not spotted?
