Next Doctor Who game dated

The next instalment in the Doctor Who Adventure games series will be made live on the BBC website this Saturday (June 26th) following the airing of the current TV series finale.

Dubbed Blood of the Cybermen and produced by Steven Moffat, it will again feature the likenesses of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. As with Episode One, the Mac version of the game will follow at a later date

Blood of the Cybermen is classic ‘Who,” writer Phil Ford stated. From the intriguing title, through the pre-credits intro to the mystery surrounding the Arctic base, this is everything you expect from a TV episode – only this time you control the action.

It’s an epic story, and one we could only tell in a computer game. We’ve ambitious sets, a thrill-a-minute narrative, and we re-introduce a Doctor Who adversary not seen since the Tom Baker era.”

The first release in the game series, City of the Daleks, has been downloaded over 525,000 times since its release at the beginning of the month.

The game can be downloaded here from Saturday night.
