Formula One 2010 dated

F1 2010 has been given the chequered flag by Codemasters to hit UK stores on September 24th.

The publisher-developer revealed the date in a new trailer posted on the official F1 website. It features a range of in-game video footage and gameplay shots of the upcoming racing title.

F1 2010 is the officially licensed F1 video game and features all the drivers and teams from this year’s World Championship including Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher.

It’s the second F1 title from Codemasters following last year’s F1 2009. Sony previously held the F1 license with a string of games on the PlayStation.

The multiformat game also boasts 19 tracks from Silverstone to Spa, and includes a range of dynamic weather effects. Players can also interact with rival drivers and the press outside of races in a new ‘Be the Driver, Live the Life’ method of gameplay.

F1 2010 will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 24th.
