Does APB still have a future?

The administrator in charge of troubled Dundee developer Realtime Worlds have released some stats that it hopes will make MMO APB an appealing purchase for a would-be buyer.

The game currently has 130,000 registered users who play the title on average for four hours every day. An average of $28 is spent per user, per month through a combination of game time and user-to-user marketplace trading.

It’s not known, however, how many of those users remain as active players of the game.

These are healthy numbers and reflect positively on APB as a ongoing concern,” joint administrator Paul Dounis of Begbies Traynor.

They prove this is a very enjoyable game, which is shown by the average player daily playtime and an ARPPU (Average Revenue per Paying User) that is highest of any game out there.”
