Import section coming to PSN

Retro seems to be very much the theme at the moment – following news that cult Saturn shooter Radiant Silvergun is getting an XBLA release, Sony has gone one better by announcing a brand new PSOne Import section on PSN.

The new sub-store will offer PSOne games previously only released in Japan. Titles confirmed so far include side-scrolling shooters Cho Aniki (pictured) and GaiaSeed, with Blockids and Drop F scheduled for an arrival soon.

Interestingly, none of the games confirmed so far are going to receive any sort of localisation meaning gamers will have the added fun of trying to navigate the Japanese menus.

So far the date has only been announced for North America, but MCV has asked SCEE about its possible arrival in Europe.
