UK CHARTS: Gran Turismo claims pole

It may have taken its time in getting to market, but the long wait for Gran Turismo 5 has rewarded Sony with a welcome UK No.1 in the UKIE GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40.

To claim the crown Polyphony Digital’s racer had to topple the mighty Call of Duty: Black Ops from atop of the listings. Activision’s shooter sits in second place this week.

Else where in the listings Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit slips from third to sixth, while Kinect Sports fall out of the Top Ten to 12th.

Expansion pack Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare debuts in 14th while Ubisoft’s Michael Jackson: The Experience enters the listings in 32nd.
