Scene It heads to Windows Phone 7

Movie trivia game Scene It will appear on Windows Phone 7 handsets in conjunction with a range of downloadable films.

Paramount is releasing ten movie apps in the US including Zoolander, School of Rock and GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra. These will also come with ‘Silverlight’ bonuses including interactive content and extras such as those found on DVDs.

Tech Radar reports that the in-film trivia features will be provided by Scene It, giving movie and party game fans an extra incentive to download the films.

Through our relationship with Microsoft, we’re able to provide consumers new, enhanced ways to enjoy movies from anywhere on Windows Phone 7,” said VP of product development for Paramount Digital Entertainment Geremie Camara.

Microsoft’s senior director for Windows Phone Marketplace Todd Brix added: We’re proud to have these Paramount titles that offer unique experiences for consumers exclusively available on Windows Phone 7 this holiday season.”

Microsoft and Paramount have not yet announced whether the range of films and Scene It will be available in the UK.

The latest boxed Scene It game, Twilight, was released in March 2010 by Konami on Wii, DS and PC. There is also an online version of Scene It available on Facebook.
