Sony champions 20-strong PS3 line-up

If the console race is to be decided on the number of triple-A games headed to each console then Sony already has the 2011 hardware title in the bag.

Speaking on the US PlayStation blog, the platform holder has named 20 titles that will exclusively be hitting the console in the region over the next 12 months.

The highlights include shooter Killzone 3 and Resistance 3, creative platform outing LittleBigPlanet 2, action romps Uncharted 3 and inFamous 2, artistic outings The Last Guardian and the Team Ico bundle, racers MotorStorm Apocalypse and Twisted Metal and Move-based fantasy titles Sorcery.

And of course, this doesn’t include the many multiplatform hits also currently in development for the machine.

"Nearly every major PlayStation series is making an appearance in 2011 — even Kratos is in on the action with his guest turn in the new Mortal Kombat," SCEA’s senior social media specialist Sid Shuman stated.

"Add third-party publisher PS3 exclusives and upcoming PSN games and upcoming PlayStation Move games and you’ve got a 2011 that’s jam-packed with PS3-exclusive titles."
