New Deus Ex dated

We knew that a concrete release date for Square Enix’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution was to be announced this week, but it looks like one retailer may have let the augmented cat out of the neon-lit futuristic bag.

The Australian arm of GameStop posted the following on Twitter last night:

"OMG…BIG announcement! Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming out 25/08!"

If indeed the game is to be released in Australia on August 25th it would point to a likely European arrival on either August 26th or August 19th – and would probably mark the start of the annual Q4 rush.

At one stage the game had been penned in for a Q1 2011 release but this was pushed back shortly before Christmas.
