The remarkable strength of Xbox 360 in the US video games market shows no sings abating with news of a record performance for the console in February.
Microsoft says that NPD numbers show hardware unit sales of 535,000 for the month, making it the best selling console for the second month in a row.
Sales are up 27 per cent year-on-year, which is again a market leading statistic. Total spend on the Xbox 360 platform hit $475m.
The numbers are all the more impressive when the comparative weakness of the games market and the increasing age (six years and counting) of the console are factored in.
