GTA V lead revealed on Twitter?

Fresh speculation about Grant Theft Auto V has arisen as American actor and comedia Gilbert Gottfried seemingly confirmed the game via Twitter.

Gottfried – best known for his unique, high-pitchd voice – posted a tweet claiming he just found out I’m voicing the lead in grand theft auto 5”.

The comedian has starred in the likes of CSI, Beverly Hills Cop II and as Iago in Disney’s Aladdin – a role he reprised in the Square Enix title Kingdom Hearts 2.

The tweet was spotted by The Noble Eskimo, who contacted Rockstar North for comment. The studio simply responded with an image of Gottfried’s 1990 film Problem Child.

While this isn’t exactly concrete proof of the unconfirmed by inevitable GTA V, Fable III was similarly outed by a tweet from Jonathan Ross back in 2009.
