US: Splinter Cell Trilogy delayed

Splinter Cell Trilogy has been delayed from March to June 21st in the US.

The PS3 boxed and digital release – which includes HD revisions of Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory – was previously scheduled to hit American stores on March 22nd.

A UK release date has not yet been set but Ubisoft told VG247 it aims to get the trilogy on shelves within the first half of 2011.

Splinter Cell Trilogy is the latest console release in the stealth shooter series following last year’s Conviction. Ubisoft is also releasing two 3DS Tom Clancy games this Friday – Splinter Cell 3D and Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars.

Ubisoft’s Jade Raymond is currently heading up development of Splinter Cell 6.
