MICROSOFT: Ryse revealed

Microsoft showcased a new hack n’ slash action game for Kinect at its E3 Conference called Ryse.

Developer Crytek has been working on the game – a warrior-based motion sensing action title – details of which were leaked on the US Xbox website earlier, along with news of Halo 4.

Ryse will allow gamers to swing their arms to attack foes on-screen. Attendees at the press conference were treated to a gameplay trailer which highlighted the title’s medieval setting.

A release date or other concrete details were not revealed. The title was previously known as Codename: Kingdoms.
