Visual Science CEO confirms closure

Scottish developer Visual Science has gone into administration, CEO Tim Christian this afternoon confirmed to MCV.

The move came after the company failed to secure new work following the recent cancellation of a project by Vivendi Universal Games. The firm’s entire workforce of almost 100 has been made redundant.

“Following the cancellation of the project we’ve been trying to find replacement work, which we’ve been unable to do so in such a short time frame,” Christian told MCV. “It became apparent yesterday that we needed to put the company into administration, which we’ve done.”

Visual Science, based in Dundee, has previously developed titles including Medal of Honor Rising Sun and Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup for EA.
