20 million weapon configurations in Ghost Recon Future Soldier

Ubisoft has revealed a few eye-catching details for their upcoming co-op tactical shooter sequelGhost Recon: Future Soldier.

In a recently released video preview of the game, former Navy SEAL Richard ‘Mack’ Machowicz discusses how one mission is similar to that of the actual mission that led to Osama bin Laden’s assassination. Players are tasked with infiltrating an enemy compound, and must customize their armament and gear to their advantage.

To that end, the newly introduced ‘gunsmith’ feature will allow for some seriously extensive customization. The game boasts some 20m different weapon configurations, and includes several various parts of the weapon to tinker around with.

Future Soldier will arrive for Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 22nd in North America, May 24th in the PAL region, and May 25th in the UK. A PC version is to be released at a later date.
