2DS drops below £100 at UK retail

Nintendo’s handheld console 2DS has dropped below the 100 barrier at several UK retailers.

Having arrived in the UK on October 12th at 109.99, a drop to below 100 was always inevitable as Christmas approached, although perhaps some would have thought retail would have waited longer than ten days.

Sainsbury’s is currently offering the 2DS for 99.99 in-store, while the machine can be ordered for 99 online from Tesco Direct.

From tomorrow Argos will offer the console for 99 along with two games – LEGO The Lord of the Rings and Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed. That deal will expire on October 26th.

Amazon has also started selling the 2DS for 99.
