360 tops 100 at Tokyo Game Show

Microsoft’s latest attempt to crack what has been a difficult market for the platform holder is spearheaded by the Microsoft Game Studios’ developed Blue Dragon, with other highlights including Capcom’s Lost Planet and Tecmo’s Dead or Alive Xtreme 2.

An official Pac-Man world championship tournament was also announced at TGS, which set to take place over Xbox Live next year.

Microsoft took the opportunity to elaborate on details of the Japanese launch of its HD-DVD player add-on, which will arrive on November 17th at 19,800 Yen (around £90).

The platform holder’s new XNA Game Studio Express home development kit will also be available for download within Japanese universities, it was announced.
