Retailers are advertising the 3DS for as low as £175 in time for the handheld’s launch at midnight tonight.
Tesco dropped the price to £175 earlier today, following price cuts to £187 from Morrisons and Amazon.co.uk last week.
Amazon originally listed the device at £219.99 in January, with GAME and HMV previously pricing it at £229.99.
The handheld is available in black or blue and comes with a stylus, 2GB SD memory card and charger. HMV is hosting the official launch tonight as a variety of retailers across the UK prepare to open their doors at midnight.
