Acclaimed playwright gets video games column in new Observer publication

British playwright Lucy Prebble will write a monthly games column in a new publication by The Observer.

Prebble, best known for plays Enron, The Effect and TV series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, will feature in the paper’s new tech magazine.

Named Observer Tech Monthly, it will feature games throughout, including a dedicated section for reviews and topical features.

“Tech Monthly marks a hugely exciting moment for The Observer and places us at the heart of the conversation about technology and science in this country,” said editor John Mulholland. “Our writers are leaders in their field, and we’re delighted to create a new space to share their journalism.”

Tech Monthly launches on September 15th. It will come free with The Observer and feature in the Guardian and Observer iPad editions.
