Activision Blizzard appoints new senior VP and MD

US publisher Activision Blizzard has appointed Thibaud De Saint-Quentin as its new senior vice president and managing director of European publishing, with the role commencing on March 9th.

De Saint-Quentin replaces the outgoing Joerg Trouvain, and will be tasked with overseeing the company’s strategy for Europe. He will be based in its European headquarters at its UK Stockley Park office and will report to chief customer officer Brian Hodous.

He joins from a 20 year stint at food company Kraft, where most recently he served as vice president of its coffee business.

The European market is critical to our continued profitable growth plans and we’re delighted to have a talent of Thibaud’s caliber on board to guide the organization to even higher levels of success,” Hodous stated.

His leadership will be instrumental in the success of the company in Europe and I very much look forward to working with him in the coming years to further enhance our commercial agenda.”

De Saint-Quentin added: I’m very proud to take up this new role at Activision Blizzard. The gaming industry and Activision Blizzard in particular is an incredibly exciting business to be a part of and I’m looking forward to joining the team and leading Europe forward to the next level of growth.”
