Activision signs Hollywood talent for Elite TV

COD XP: Stars of the big screen will help grow Activision’s Call of Duty Elite through the episodic video service Elite TV.

Detailed during this week’s Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles, Elite TV will only be available as part of the premium subscription package and will deliver COD-themed videos from notable Hollywood talent.

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg confirmed that contributors include actors Will Arnett and Jason Bateman, and executive producers Ridley and Tony Scott.

The Scotts are working on a show called Friday Night Fights, which pits real world rivals against each other on Call of Duty. Examples ranged from firefighters vs police officers, democrats vs republicans and even some celebrity rivalries.

Meanwhile, Arnett and Bateman will present Noob Tube, a show compiling the best user-created videos produced through Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
