Dell announced today that its community web site which caters to the hardcore PC gaming crowd Alienware Arena will be expanding to Australia.
The site aims to build the competitive PC gaming community by opening communication channels to plan online and physical gaming events.
Deborah Harrigan, general manager for Dell's Consumer, Small and Medium Business Division, said: "Australian gamers are among the most passionate in the world and we are excited to bring a community of over one million registered gamers to Australia."
Alienware is already in Australia with pop-up PC gaming events under the Alienware Area 52 banner. These are set to continue and become integrated into the new community site, with the next events including the Sydney Telstra 400 V8 Supercars Challenge from 2nd-4th December and in Martin Place in Sydney from 5th-6th December.
