MCV Pacific is proud to announce a series of awards for entities from all walks of life in the Australian / New Zealand games industry for 2011!
A crack judging panel is being assembled with representatives from all facets of the gaming sector who will vote for the 'best of 2011' in the following categories:
- Publisher
- Distributor
- Developer
- Retailer
- Tertiary Educator (College/Uni/TAFE)
- Media Outlet
- Journalist
- ANZ-developed Game
Nominations for each category will be handled by the judging panel, the staff at MCV Pacific and our readers.
To submit a company, game or person for nomination, send an email to mcvpacificawards@intentmedia.co.uk with the subject heading 'Award Nomination'.
These awards will represent the values of countless industry professionals who spend every day slogging to help make the games community here what it is.
Nominations will be open until 14th December.
Note that companies who handle both publishing and distribution duties on titles can be eligible for either or both categories. The publisher category will be taking marketing and publicity into account, while distribution will be based on sales and logistics. Additionally, the ANZ-developed game must have released during calendar 2011.
