Apple WWDC clashes with E3

As if the increasing tensions between Apple and console rivals like Nintendo and Sony wasn’t enough, the iPhone and Mac platform holder has just upped the stakes.

Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference will run from June 6th to June 10th in Moscone West, San Francisco. This year’s E3 runs for three days from June 7th at the LA Convention Center.

WWDC will host over 100 technical sessions from over 1,000 Apple engineers. It will also present the Apple Design Awards.

At this year’s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS,” Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing Philip Schiller stated.

If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss.”
