Argos dates Kinect Star Wars for April

The new Argos catalogue released this weekend has dated Kinect Star Wars for April in the UK.

The Xbox 360, which blends Jedi action with motion control, game was originally included as part of Microsoft’s Christmas 2011 release slate but it was delayed to this year for further development time.

When contacted by MCV, a Microsoft spokesperson said: Kinect Star Wars is currently dated for a Spring 2012 release. We’ll have more to announce soon.”

It’s not unusual for retailers to guess at release date – and the issue is particularly tough for Argos, which only publishes two catalogues a year.

MCV understands that further announcements about Kinect Star Wars are expected in the near future.
