AUD$1 million still owed to Team Bondi employees

Edge is reporting that Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) liquidators have revealed over AUD$1 million in debts to former Team Bondi staff.

Over 75% of the L.A. Noire developer's debt was allegedly due to unpaid employee bonuses and backpay. The total debt according to ASIC documents is AUD$1,425,156.78.

33 staff are owed a total of AUD$1,074,283.28, including studio head Brendan McNamara (AUD$102,495.16), general manager Vicky Lord (AUD$99,155.21), gameplay lead David Heironymus (AUD$43,652) and gameplay programmer Charles Lefebvre (AUD$$19,120.17).

The documents are also reported to assert Team Bondi having AUD$145,795.83 debt to McNamara's own Depth Analysis, which is the company behind the Motionscan technology used predominantly throughout the game.

Former Team Bondi staff are rumoured to have all been offered jobs at KMM Studios. Team Bondi officially closed its doors in late August of this year.
