So far, all 2K is willing to say on the game's features so far is this: "Borderlands 2 features all new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment, which come together in an ambitiously crafted story. Wait... 2K are working on the Borderlands sequel?! Surely you mean Gearbox are; 2K are just the publisher are they not?!

Gearbox is the developer and 2K is the publisher. Both are working on the game. As a retail facing website, we often lead with the publisher as it is the business that retailers deal with on a daily basis.
