Brash confirms $400m backing

The company also boasts ‘a new business model for bringing games to market’ in a statement confirming the $400m investment.

Led by former Massive Incorporated head honchos Mitch Davis and Nicholas Longano, Brash already has more than 40 licences ready to be made into games thanks to partnerships with five major movie studios. Twelve games are said to have gone into production already.

“Brash is founded on the simple premise that top Hollywood creativity plus top game talent should equal great games,” said Brash co-founder, chairman and CEO Mitch Davis. “We are laser focused on delivering high-quality games. The other aspects of our business are left to the experts – best of breed partners we have tapped for their specific expertise.”
