Capcom shares rocket after Nintendo success

Next-gen.biz reports that the success of the Japanese publisher's Wii titles has boosted Capcom’s stock significantly, after Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition shipped 750,000 units globally. Capcom’s shares have already risen 33 per cent this year.

The publisher also has Camelot-developed We Love Golf in the pipeline, which is expected to drive annual sales up by 11 per cent.

Capcom also expects solid sales for forthcoming titles Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure and Sengoku BASARA 2 Heroes.
