Resident Evil and Monster Hunter creator Capcom is about to embark on a major recruitment push, with plans to hire at least 500 developers over the next five years.
A note to investors from CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto details a five-year plan designed to counter financial disappointments of the current fiscal year.
"I want to build a development framework that can put the right people in the right places," Tsujimoto explained. "From now on, I plan to hire at least 100 software developers every year to give us an even more powerful development workforce."
