Cars revs up

Prey was closes to taking GTA's crown last week, but seven days later the Xbox 360 exclusive has dropped to the seventh spot. Sales have also increased though for Ubisoft’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow as it springs from tenth position to fourth, whilst BVG’s Dead Man’s Chest slips a place to fifth. Fellow movie tie-in, Over The Hedge slips five places to tenth.

Football still has a healthy presence in the charts with both Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 5 and EA’s FIFA World Cup 2006 still in the top ten, but both slipping one place each for a consecutive week to eighth and ninth place respectively.

Nintendo’s handheld continues making the most of the sun with New Super Mario Bros refusing to budge from third place and Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training at six, whilst Big Brain Academy doesn’t appear to pose much of a challenge for its older brother Kawashima and remains at the 17th spot.
