Codemasters Humble Weekly Sale passes $1m milestone

Codemasters has pulled in a cool $1m this week, thanks to the UK studio’s Humble Weekly Sale promotion.

The pay-what-you-want sale has so far sold more than 217,000 bundles and brought in $1.11m, with still a day and change to go at time of writing.

Codemasters and Humble Bundle aren’t the only folks benefiting from the strong numbers – UK charity SpecialEffect will receive a fair share of the pie as well. The organization helps to make games accessible to those with disabilities and serious illness.

The offer includes Overlord (and DLC), Operation Flashpoint: Red River, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, and Rise of the Argonauts. Those who pay $6 or more also receive DiRT Showdown, DiRT 3 and Overlord II.

How much goes to charity, developer, and distributor is determined by the individual buyer.
